Frigidaire Professional, A Great 5 Burner Cooktop

Received the cooktop it slipped right into the existing cutout, no renovations were necessary. It replaced a 14 year old GE Monogram, which are ridiculously overpriced now and don't cook any better than the Frigidaire does. It looks great and has a wider heat range than the old Monogram does. If you are on the fence considering the Frigidaire Professional Line, don't be, they are probably the best bang for your buck out there.

The best feature is that you can control gas flow on the burners very, very well, which is awfully important to cooking many foods. The worse thing is that the stainless steel is tough to clean. Burned on grease is almost impossible to get off without damaging the surface.

Great cooktop. High quality knobs and burners compared to my last cooktop (not a Frigidaire). Strong flame. I read a review that the burners would go off when adjusting to a very low flame. Not the case. The only issue I had was the brackets are designed to extend out to the side and clamp under the counter. In my case I don™€™t have any counter extending beyond the cabinet. I just reused the steel strap from my old cooktop, screwed it to the side of the cooktop and the side of the cabinet to hold down the cooktop.

Predictable with no gimmicks

This is a great gas cooktop. I converted from a lower end electric cooktop, and aside from the slightly extra effort required to clean(necessary for any gas cooktop) I am very pleased. Pans come up to heat so quickly now. I can dial the heat right where I need it to be. It looks great, but isn™€™t unnecessarily confusing with any gimmicky features like WiFi or lights.

Our 1955 built house originally had Fridgidaire appliances. We replaced the fridgidaire cooktop several years ago with a maytag range and kept the original oven. When doing our recent remodel we choose a new fridgidaire 30" gas cooktop and 22" electric wall oven.Love the look and funcuality of both! When looking for a cooktop, fridgidaire was the only model we could find that had stainless knobs, important to us! (the others stated stainless colored plastic) we needed to change from natural gas to propane, the parts were included and easy to change. The cooktop works as it should and is easy to clean. The oven looks beautiful, however, was a little tricky to install as there is no lip on the top leaving only 1/8" to work with. After much measuring my husband did get it to fit. A lip on the top of the oven would make it much easier to install!

From Hi setting on knob through the next 3 settings down, the flame height does not change. Don't have a medium flame height until almost on lowest setting, then very tricky to get low flame. I was accustomed to a gradual flame reduction as I turned the knob. Will need to get familiar with these settings.

I was pleased with my shiny new stainless steel gas cooktop. In a matter of a week or two the stainless steel showed burn marks from the fire. These burn marks are not washable or can not be cleaned away. This is unacceptable we they are called stainless. Help

I bought this cooktop to replace one that came with my house when I bought it. It was painfully slow to boil a pan of pasts water. With the high BTU burner it boils in less than half the time. I had to get a specialized plumber to install it for a cost of $225 but it was worth it for the piece of mind that the propane was set up properly. I am very happy with this purchase. I could have spent a lot more but this is a quality product that does not disappoint.

This was an upgrade from an old GM Profile 30" cooktop. The new cooktop allowed us to gain an additional center burner due to the layout of the new cooktop! The cooktop heats very well with extra BTU's for when you need them! Haven't tried the new griddle yet but looking forward to it!

Purchased all new appliances for my kitchen 1 year ago, if that, and already having issues with left knob of cooktop. Knob began getting stuck and hard to turn a few months ago, and on 12/23/21 stayed stuck in the on position and does not turn off. Only way to turn the burner on and off is by closing the gas valve under the cooktop. A plumber has warned me that if cooktop is not repaired soon, next issue I am going to have is a leaking gas valve as they are not meant to be turned off and on regularly. Upon reading other reviews, apparently this is a common issue with this cooktop model. I reached out to Frigidaire (1800-374-4432) however they are closed for the holidays. It does not state when the will return. Very disappointed.

I had a couple of grate issues right off the bat (broken, incorrect grate replaced, etc--essentially shipping orders, I think). This company really stands behind its products and provides thorough service in a friendly, rapid manner! KUDOS. This replaced an electric cook top in the 1945 home we recently bought. My use has been limited, but so far it performs like a dream! Excellent layout. My only concern is the fact the grates are open-sided, potentially allowing anything placed near the cook top to be a hazard.

This cooktop is really cool. I love that it has 3 different sizes of burners. And the extra large burner in the center is perfect for huge canning pots. I have found the griddle to be very handy for hash browns, grilled cheese, pancakes, and tortillas. It looks nice and is very practical.

I liked the look of the cooktop until I realized how easy the thing scrathes. I have had it less than 2 years and the burner grates are rusting. They are very expensive to replace. I would be better off buying a new cooktop. All my Frigidare appliances are new and I have had something wrong with each one of them.

We bought our Frigidaire cooktop to replace an older cooktop that was in the home when we bought it and that we were really unhappy with. The Frigidaire cooktop is so much better and we are really happy with it, especially the center burner. The new unit fit nicely into the granite cutout for the old cooktop and the new unit looks good in the kitchen. The controls are very easy to use and allows us to adjust the flame to just the amount of flame we want. We look forward to many years of great service from our new cooktop.
